The corridors reflect all the past glories of the Empire and the suites and rooms are superbly furnished in Edwardian-style. The Courtyard entrance to the hotel overlooks lily ponds, lush flowering shrubs and palm trees. Traditional high tea is served every afternoon on the Terrace that has a spectacular view onto the Victoria Falls Bridge and Gorge. There is a total of 180 guest rooms.

All 212 en-suite guest rooms are open and airy and decorated with handcrafted fusion of Zambian designs. All rooms are air-conditioned, with satellite TV, a mini safe, telephone as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a convenient access to ice machines and nearby vending machines, offering a variety of drinks and snacks. All rooms spill outwards into the natural African bush or face inwards onto a vast, cool, landscaped pool. All rooms have spacious bathrooms with separate bath and shower. 39 rooms have queen-size beds and sleeper couches and 167 rooms offer either 2 double beds, a queen-size bed or two separate single beds. There are also 2 rooms with paraplegic facilities. The four suites offer guests even more in terms of luxury and space.
