Chitabe is a luxurious tented camp situated in an area surrounded by waterways and lagoons and bordered on three sides by the Moremi Game Reserve. Accommodation is in 8 spacious East African style tents that are built on elevated wooden decks, beneath the lush tree canopy. Each room has en-suite facilities with flush toilets, and a shower and basin with hot/cold running water. The thatched dining area, lounge and pub are also raised and overlook the surrounding flood plains. There is a pool to cool off from the heat of the day. Activities consist of day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. Game viewing is good, and includes Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Reedbuck, Lechwe, Impala, Zebra and Hippo. Wild dogs are also sometimes sighted. Night drives can be very rewarding with good sightings of the rarer nocturnal animals. Access into this area is only by aircraft. |

Jao Camp is situated in remote private reserve on a large island to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. Accommodation is in 9 unique twin-bedded canvas and thatched rooms under a canopy of shady trees, with en-suite bathroom and an outside shower under the stars. The rooms are raised off the ground and offer wonderful views of the surrounding flood plains. A raised walkway connects the rooms to the dining room and lounge area. There is a plunge pool and an outdoor “kgotla” for dining under the stars, as well as a well-stocked wine cellar. The activities at Jao include mekoros, boats, fishing, day and night game drives and guided walks. The area is extremely seasonal and with the annual flood, transforms from dry green open plains in summer to shallow flood plains in the winter. Access to this area is only by aircraft. |

Mombo Camp is situated on Mombo Island, adjoining the northern tip of Chief’s Island. The camp offers abundant big game viewing, arguably the best in Botswana. Lion sightings are particularly good. Mombo is built under the shade of large shady trees and overlooks a floodplain that teems with game. The camp has 9 comfortably furnished, luxurious tents with en-suite facilities. The rooms and walkways in camp are up to 2m off the ground, allowing game to wander freely through the camp. The dining room, pub, living area and plunge pool overlook the open plain. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers. The game viewing in the area is excellent and guests could see Lion, Leopard, large herds of Buffalo, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Elephant, White Rhino, Hyena, Giraffe, Wildebeest and Zebra. Access into this area is only by aircraft. |

Vumbura (pronounced Vuumbera) is a six roomed luxury tented camp situated to the north of Mombo, in a private concession bordering on Moremi. Mekoros (dug-out canoes) traverse the flood plains under the guidance of polers from the BaYei tribe and boats take guests onto the larger and deeper areas of water (water levels permitting). Open 4x4 Land Rovers allow close proximity to animals in the savannah areas. Add in Lion, Leopard, Elephant and Buffalo along with all the plains game, and one has an excellent all round game experience. Each of the 6 tented rooms has en-suite facilities with hot/cold running water, a shower, and flush toilet as well as an outdoor shower. The main dining, lounge, pub area and plunge pool is tucked beneath a canopy of trees with views across the floodplain. Access is by aircraft and then by vehicle to camp. |

Xigera Camp (pronounced Keejera) is a luxury-tented camp situated in an area with permanent water all year round. Activities include foot safaris, mokoro's, game drives, excellent birding, and boating trips in total privacy. Built within a shady grove, Xigera consists of 8 luxuriously furnished walk-in tented rooms, with en-suite facilities and outdoor shower. Each room is raised off the ground offering superb views of the floodplain to the east of camp. The dining room overlooks the main river, which along with the pub and lounge area are under thatch. The whole camp is raised off the ground and raised walkways connects the entire camp. The wooden footbridge, a unique feature to Xigera, connects the Xigera island to the next and is often used by Lion and Leopard moving between the islands, providing excellent sighting possibilities. |
